Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to and govern all contracts of service unless
otherwise stated and agreed in written form by both Lingualink Ltd. and the Client. ‘Lingualink Ltd’ (subsequently referred to simply by its initials ‘L.L.’) runs the all
year round Language School, Refresher Courses, Foreign Language Courses, Vacation Courses,
Company Courses in UK, Long Stay and School Stay courses in UK, Business Courses & Courses
in Schools abroad. The Client is defined as the individual or body receiving a language service from Lingualink Ltd. Bookings for Language Courses:
Services:
- L.L. will provide the Services to the client in accordance to the terms and conditions and price quotation and the particulars set out in the Services contract.
- L.L. reserves the right to change the particulars of the services agreed including changes to courses, course locations and dates where circumstances beyond L.L.’s control necessitate such changes. In such an event L.L. will provide services that are comparable to the Services contract. Where the quoted minimum number of students required for group bookings, as stated on the Services contract and written price quotation, are not fulfilled by the Client, L.L. reserve the right to make changes to the course or to cancel the course and the client shall have no financial claim against L.L. in respect of those changes.
- Where the minimum level of bookings received in order to make a course viable are not reached, then L.L. reserves the right to change the particulars of the Services and will provide Services comparable to those agreed or will refund such part of the price which related to the changes and the Client will have no further claim against L.L. in respect to those changes.
- L.L. is fully entitled to sub-contact with any individual to fulfil the provision of services contact.
Cancellation by the Client:

- All cancellation notices are to be received in written form and should be addressed to the Director. The cancellation date is the date on which L.L. receives the notice from the client.
- It should be recognised that it is in the Client’s best interest to be responsible to take out insurance to cover against possible cancellation charges.
- In addition to the above cancellation fee the client is responsible to pay in full against the cost of charges and expenses incurred by L.L. as a result of cancellation. This include transport, visa or accommodation costs.
- In the case of a group booking individual group members can be substituted if agreed by L.L. without incurring cancellation fees.
- Course fees cannot be refunded after the start date.
- 28 days notice is required to cancel accommodation previously booked.
Course Prices:
- The course price is defined as the all inclusive price listed in the promotional material or the all inclusive price for the services agreed in the Services contract and the price quotation.
- The price of the course are those current at the time of the acceptance of the booking or those agreed in the written quotation from L.L.
Terms of Payment:
Stage 1: All payments to L.L. shall be made in Euros or sterling. On receipt of the invoice we request the Client to send a bank transfer of a non-refundable deposit amounting to 10% of the course fees per person within a three week period starting from issue date of the invoice. The deposit will be deducted from the final course price.
Stage 2: The balance of the total course price should be transferred to our account no later than 42 days before the start date of the course.
- All payments to L.L. shall be made in Euros or sterling to the bank account specified below.
- All bank charges or bank deductions are the responsibility of the individual, school or association applying. No payment will be deemed to be made until L.L. has received payment in cleared funds.
- Receipts for payment will only be made on request.
- In the event of the Client failing to make payment on the due dates then L.L. reserves the right to cancel the booking, application and contract and suspend the provision of Services to the Client.

Responsibility:
Lingualink Ltd.:
- L.L. will not be held liable to the Client for any loss or damage to property, or injury or death of any person caused by the negligent act or omission or wilful misconduct of the Client.
- L.L. shall not be made liable to the Client for any act of or omissions of independent suppliers that provide services/facilities as part of the course package offered by L.L. (For example hotels, conference centres, families, coach companies).
- L.L. will not be held liable to the Client for any loss or damages caused by circumstances outside of L.L.’s control for example, acts of God, strikes, wars, fire, flood, theft.
- L.L. will not be held liable to the Client for any expenses incurred by the Client by expulsion from the course or camp due to unreasonable or unsociable behaviour by the Client
- L.L. will not be held liable to the Client until the full course price has be received in full.
- L.L. will not be held liable to refund or to forward by mail any of the Client’s possessions damaged, lost or forgotten during a course.
- L.L. will be held liable to and will indemnify the Client for any injury, or death to any persons caused by any negligent act, or omission or wilful misconduct of L.L. or its employees.
- L.L. reserves the right to withhold Services to the Client in the event of the Client failing to pay for any damage committed by the Client on site.
- L.L. reserves the right to expel a Client from a course/camp and terminate the contract when the Client does not demonstrate reasonable standards of conduct.
The Client:
- The Client will be held liable to indemnify L.L. for any loss or damage to property, or injury or death of any person caused by the negligent act or omission or wilful misconduct of the Client.
- The Client must demonstrate reasonable standards of conduct.
- The Client agrees never to undertake an activity which may bring L.L.’s name or reputation into question or disrepute.
Agents and Third Parties:
- In the case of a group, the group leader will be liable to pay immediately for any damage committed by any members of the group.
- The Agent selling L.L.‘s Services to a third party is a separate legal and financial organisation. Therefore the Agent is not empowered to make decisions or commitments on behalf of L.L.
- The Agent does not have a legal or financial partnership or is not in joint venture with L.L. and it is not empowered to create one. This fact must be made clear to all third parties. The agent is therefore not authorised to bind L.L. in any way to a third party.
Complaints:
- If for any reason the Client wishes to make a complaint about the Services received then these should be made to the company Director or the Chief Executive Officer or the L.L. Representative on site at the moment the issue arises during the course/camp. If however the matter cannot be resolved in the first instance then a written complaint should be registered during the course in the complaints book and the official written complaint needs to be sent by the Client to the Main Office at: 7 Conwy Street, Rhyl, Denbighshire, LL18 3ET, UK. Please note that failure to register the initial complaint during the programme in writing will impede further proceedings.
- All written official complaints need to be received no later than 28 days after the end date of the course in question.
- All written complaints will be looked into and acknowledged in writing by L.L.
- Refunds to the Client, when deemed appropriate, will be paid by L.L. provided that there are no outstanding payments invoiced or otherwise relevant, on the side of the Client.
- Any dispute arising between the Client and L.L. concerning complaints, contracts or these terms and conditions will be determined by the High Court of Justice in England to which body both parties are subject to.

Lingualink Ltd. follows the Data Protection Act 1998 and is committed to follow the eight principles laid out in the Act. Any data supplied by an individual to Lingualink Ltd. will not be used in a manner, which is contrary to these principles. Data will be held in a secure manner, protected from unauthorised access and use and not be passed to a third party unless the positive assent is first obtained from any individual directly affected. Lingualink Ltd. recognises the rights of an individual and will ensure they are fully complied with.

Information Collection and Use
Lingualink Ltd. is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Lingualink Ltd. collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. All of our users’ information, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our systems are password-protected and ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers’ information is protected. Correction/Updating Personal Information:
